Ai Melodia complies with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512) and with equivalent copyright-takedown procedures in other jurisdictions. We respond to valid takedown notices within 72 hours.
What a valid notice must include
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The URL of the allegedly infringing track on Melodia.
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Counter-notification
If your content was removed and you believe the takedown was in error, you may submit a counter-notification. It must contain your signature, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in Wilmington, Delaware.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that receive multiple substantiated takedown notices will be terminated.
